Throne Wars is set in China in 69 A.D., the time of the Eaters of the Lotus. The current emperor, a pawn of the Lotus is dying, and the stage is set for the other factions, especially the Guiding Hand, to alter history. Naturally, Throne War focuses on the Guiding Hand and the Eaters of the Lotus. The Jammers receive several useful cards, as well. Key cards include Scourging, Blue Monk, Temple of Angry Spirits, and Die.
