Netherworld was released in August 1995 with 134 cards and the identifier is the artists name in larger type with a 1995 copyright date. This expansion rounds out two minor groups introduced in the Limited/Standard Editions, making them viable major factions. The Jammers come from the same future as the Architects of the Flesh, and are their sworn enemies. The Jammers use Tech to great effect, and many of their best characters are powerful sorcerers who were exiled to the Netherworld by the Ascended. Two of the most powerful cards in the game, Pocket Demon and Violent Mediations, were introduced in this set, and both are common cards. These two power-generating cards profoundly changed the way the game was played.
