Flashpoint was released in March 1996 with 145 cards and the identifier is a machine gun in the upper right corner. Although considered the weaker of the two expansions Daedalus put out, Flashpoint introduced many cards that became stock cards in decks and are still used today. The greatest impact was made by the cards Purist and Purist Sorcerer. Had a focus on the Architects and Dragons (though still including cards for all seven factions). Flashpoint had a very annoying rarity distribution scheme and was the last expansion printed by Daedalus. Most of the Feng Shui sites have some types of power or ability, a trend that started in Netherworld, and a new type of non-Feng Shui site, the Battleground site, is introduced.
